2. Conflict of interest

Wherever JiangWay appears on the Site, including in the directory, featured slots, deals and giveaway prizes, it is labelled "Affiliated with the site operator". Its placement is not an independent rating. Please use your own judgement.

Life information on the Site (visas, healthcare, emergency numbers, load-shedding, safety, etc.) and official links are general information only. They are not legal, immigration, medical, financial or other professional advice. Official sources and notices prevail. We try to show sources and the date information was checked, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, current or accurate.

4. Business directory and deals

Business details, deals, prices and expiry dates come from the businesses themselves or from public sources. We try to verify them but do not guarantee their accuracy. A "Verified" badge means only that the details were checked on the date shown.

Any transaction you make is between you and the business. The business is responsible for the quality and price of its goods or services, returns, and after-sales service. Deals are subject to what the business actually offers; if there is a dispute, please contact the business first.

The Site carries paid advertising and featured placements, which are labelled "Ad" or "Sponsored". Advertising on the Site is not a recommendation, guarantee or endorsement of that business.

6. Giveaways

Each giveaway has its own official rules and is run under the Consumer Protection Act (free entry, a draw certified by an independent third party, etc.). If those rules conflict with this disclaimer, the giveaway rules prevail.

7. Comment board (planned)

When the comment board launches, every comment will be moderated before it is shown. Comments reflect the views of the people who post them, not the Site. We may decline or remove content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing or spam, or that discloses other people's personal information.

8. Reporting unlawful or infringing content (take-down)

If you believe content on the Site infringes your rights or is unlawful, email TBD (EMAIL) with:

  • your signature (an electronic signature is fine);
  • the right you say is being infringed;
  • the content or URL concerned;
  • the action you want us to take;

We count clicks on buttons to improve the Site and to give advertisers aggregated performance figures (never personally identifiable data). 11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by South African law, the Site is not liable for loss arising from: use of or reliance on general information on the Site; the conduct of third-party businesses; external websites; and interruptions of service beyond our reasonable control.

This clause does not exclude or limit: liability for loss caused by the gross negligence, wilful misconduct or fraud of the Site or anyone acting for it; liability for death or personal injury where the law does not allow it to be excluded; or any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, POPIA or any other law that cannot lawfully be waived.

12. Changes and governing law

We may update this disclaimer and will change the "Last updated" date when we do. Terms already agreed for a transaction will not be changed unilaterally. This disclaimer is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

If the Chinese and English versions differ, the TBD (Chinese / English — Hans to decide) version prevails.
